Who are you voting for president?

Obama has done everything WRONG. If he is elected again, he will finish what he has started and destroy our country, which I believe is his intentional plan.

Really? You really believe this?

Gary Johnson or Ron Paul, I guess. Not a bit excited about either of the front runners.

We don't need the same old candidates who try over and over again until it's their turn.

I think we need a smart person like Bill Gates. Someone with tons of business acumen but at the same time is a true humanitarian at heart. Someone who cares about moving the economy forward, but not at the expense of our environment and general well being.

I have Lots of reasons not to vote for Obama, but I have even more reasons not to vote for Romney.

Likely I won't be voting for either of them.

And the official cornsnakes.com polling of a sample of 28 people has revealed that...

No one shall win!

(the poll's margin of error is 94%)

It is pretty amazing that most of the members (at least those who posted) don't like either candidate and want "none of the above". If only the WHOLE COUNTRY would vote like that (for SOMEBODY besides the Republicrat offerings), maybe we would get some REAL change!

Yeah, but probably won't happen. Too many people will be voting AGAINST a candidate, and many more voting FOR a candidate, all for very wrong and completely irrelevant reasons.

I hate politics, so this was sorely-needed comic relief. Thanks!

I have always felt this way. Why only two choices? Out of the entire nation? Seriously? I am really tempted to not vote this year. I am tired of voting for the lesser evil. I know it's my civic duty, but I really hate our system at the moment. It's just one unappetizing set of choices after another. Sometimes I vote for the independent candidate just to make a (very tiny) statement.

More choices doesn't always equate to better choices. The Parliamentary system that Britain, Canada, Australia and others use often ends up being just more bad choices.

It's funny, Jack Layton, who recently passed away, led the Canadian New Democratic Party for years. I only voted NDP in the most recent election, and the NDP was always a distant third, but in the last election the NDP surged and became the official opposition (So, second largest party in Parliament). Even though a lot of people disagreed with his politics the national mourning for his passing was astounding. Aside from a few ..... bad people (Ezra Levant being one), the respect for Mr. Layton seemed to be universal. It's not often a politician is seen that way.

He was always very authentic and honest, though. Of course, he never formed government, but he always stood by his beliefs. I think Canada is poorer for his loss and I'm hoping his successor can live up to his legacy.

So even though Canada had an honest, highly respected man running, the two dominant parties continued to be led by people almost no one trusts.

Anyway, my point is, multi-party systems don't automatically make things better. :p

I preface my quotes by saying... this is NOT political. These quotes strike on a much greater (and deeper) problem than voting can fix.

Obama did not grow up in this country.
Mitt Romney's money didn't grow up in this country either :shrugs:...

Obama does not LOVE our country as we do and wants to CHANGE it into a different Country.
Who's "we"? And what's "our country"??? Apparently you must be talking about YOUR idea of what our country is (and isn't), because I don't presume to know how much Obama "loves" our country. However, I do know that he's a human being. I do know that he's loyally married, and that he has two children that he loves very much. And I do know that he ran for president to create change for the people that was positive (whether it was positive or not can be debated). So to me, from a human perspective (not a political perspective), this comment is absurd. It's too vague to substantiate. And it's too bitter to argue against. I also don't see the benefit that would come to him for "ruining this country" (other than it making a great conspiracy novel).

He is one of the first Presidents that I have seen LIE to the American people, over and over again.
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

... good one! I guess the other ones have done a good job convincing you then.

No other President has divided us as much as Obama. We need a President who has ALL Americans interest in mine, not select GROUPS of people that Obama panders too. If you are Black, Hispanic, Oriental, Gay, Government Worker, or a Woman, Obama does not care about you.
You presume to know a lot about the makeup of our president's character. All of which is your projection, and nothing else. To say that "Obama does not care about you" is shock value. It's just to get a response.

Obama and others like him live on RACISM. That is all they got. The only reason Obama was elected is because he is half black.
You know, I would have thought that Al Sharpton's "blackness" would have won him his election (if this statement about race is true of course... I'm finding holes).

Apparently having every other president in this nation's history be white is just a coincidence, while having our nations 1st black president is the utmost sign that racism has infiltrated our democratic process???

I find you unconvincing, honestly.

Obama is the most RACIST President in our history.
I'd ask you to read some history books. But actually, you probably wouldn't find that type of information in the revised history that they teach in American public schools. I'd suggest a quick google search on the "Jim Crow south"... that should at least give you a start.

I beg you to VOTE AGAINST OBAMA. Don’t let the color of his skin blind you and let him destroy our country right in front of you as you watch. Obama is not special because of the color of his skin, he is hiding behind it.
Turn off the TV pal... life is so much greater than the propaganda filled "idiot box" that you've been turning to for your information. The only one blinded by his skin color are the ones trying to use it as leverage against him. The rest of us are just happy to see our diversity properly reflected in our Gov't.

And frankly, I will never give another person the satisfaction of generating this type of fear in me. Life is just too short to be so reactionary, bitter, and angry.
