LMAO! You totally know we're all going to hell, right? I think I'll get a head start.

I am going to bed with SWMBO. She knows my safe word and only hurts me on Saturday night. You guys are scary. I’m mean really, you need to talk to someone, professionally. This can’t be good on your systems to get in such a state. You could burst a vessel or something.

I'm glad it made sense, because I wasn't sure how exactly to say, that I was trying to expalin where the claims come from, while also maintaining that I disagree with using them to claim that one is better than the other. Because to say 'I am less likely to get colon cancer as a vegetarian than the general population' that is *technically* true. It is just that doesn't mean that eating meat necessarily raises cancer risk, because an omnivore with a similarly high consumption of fruit/veggies/fiber and a low consumption of saturated fat can also be less likely to get cancer than the general population.

So anyways I am glad I explained it right.

And unfortunately, I have to spread more rep around before giving it to you again. I hate that!

Oh and don't worry I haven't even figured out how it works yet or what specifically it means anyways :dunce:

Exactly! I'm leary of even back into this thread....it was much more fun when we were all ganging up on Wade, but I really enjoyed reading the articles and such that you posted. I'm all for getting healthier, trust me. I have way too many bad habits, but my meat consumption is not what I view as one of them. My preferences are leaner meats such as skinless chicken and such, but we keep a ton of fruits and veggies in the house...mainly because I'm trying to impart better early health habits into my children than I was raised with myself. Thanks for all the good stuff, Dinah! :wavey:

OK, the debate is over when the personal attacks start flying and the poor dead horse gets beaten. I'll not issue any infractions mainly because the personal attacks were pretty lame and really not worthy of the members that reported them. You two dish out worse when you're just having fun! ;)
