I'm glad it made sense, because I wasn't sure how exactly to say, that I was trying to expalin where the claims come from, while also maintaining that I disagree with using them to claim that one is better than the other. Because to say 'I am less likely to get colon cancer as a vegetarian than the general population' that is *technically* true. It is just that doesn't mean that eating meat necessarily raises cancer risk, because an omnivore with a similarly high consumption of fruit/veggies/fiber and a low consumption of saturated fat can also be less likely to get cancer than the general population.
So anyways I am glad I explained it right.
