That's got to be true, otherwise flourescent, sunglow, vomitmels and reverse okeetees would all be 'just amels'. Genetically they are, but the expression of the genes plus agreed standards gives distinct morphs.(And the chance to disagree over those standards)
But I don't know what the "agreed standard" is for crimson versus hypo-Miami. I'm not arguing that there is no difference; I'm merely stating that I don't know what that difference is. :shrugs:
