Correct me if i am wrong, but isnt that how the corn world basically got started?? People went to petstores, saw odd looking snakes, bred them and proved such and such?
There were three (maybe four) clerks that were trying to help me (this store doesnt see much action i think). One of the ladies that worked there also had her boyfriend there because he was thinking about buying this snake. As soon as they lifted the lid and she was able to get the baby out from the aspen i knew right away that it was a hypo something. I debated with my husband for a few minutes deciding whether to buy it, but i have to keep remembering (its hard when you see such nice corns that are hard to pass up) that i promised to help him get his boa projects up and running first before i can buy any more "pets"

. So I asked him to take a couple of pics for me and the male clerk that was standing there said "why are you doing that" i said to compare to other snakes that ive seen", he said "oh you have fancy snakes at home?" i said ummmmmmmm yea a few. I had already tried to tell these people what the snake was (potentially that is). I had asked for papers, if they had any info on the breeder they got it from, has the snake been sexed (there was NO tapering of the tail at all by the vent, so i was assuming a male, but we all know how that goes). They all looked at me like i was alien, didnt ask questions, didnt seem to be to enthused that i was asking really.
I had a few paragraphs typed too, but with all things considered, im still new to this forum and this hobby so my opinions at this moment are based on incomplete knowledge and i would rather not get flamed for that lol.
Anyway, i would have LOVED to buy that snake, its probably gone now, but my husband has had this dream of being a successful snake breeder for 20 years, but never was able to find a chic

that liked snakes. He says that even if he won the lottery he would still do this because he loves it. So unless i find a LAVENDER or OPAL or (my heart would stop) a BLOOD lol in a pet store, i will just have to continue to live vicariously through you all
