Why I don't always kill the "freaks"

El Jefe

Mark 16:18
Meet "Freak"

He was born in 2006. I know some people have the policy of killing kinked or mal-formed babies but I can't bring myself to do it unless there is no way they can make it. If it looks like they have a chance I give it to them and if they don't eat then I will do the humane thing. This guy was kinked and had one eye but he looked like he could take food so I gave him a shot....

I've been thinking about this for 10 minutes and I can't come up with anything I could get away with to say about your one eyed snake. :grin01:

I will say it's not my cup of tea, but I don't begrudge others who take the time. :)

Take the time??? There was nothing I had to do. Set him up like the rest and he ate like everyone else.

And for the rest of you....I resisted the caption title about my one-eye snake so I'm sure you can resist a post...... ;)

It is awesome that you gave him the chance to live and he was able to take it. He's an amazing snake! Kudos to both you and him!

(I am so sorry to be the first to break...)

You guys have to give Jeff a rest and stop asking him all these questions about his snake! He's busy taking 'ole One Eye to See The Optometrist!!!

Just to let everyone know...at least this moderator will be watching this thread to make sure Jeff's freaky one-eyed snake doesn't get out of hand.

I'm not even touching that one Susan. :nope: :sidestep:
Jay
:roflmao: I hear ya Jay... I'm not touching it either :sidestep:

That's very cool that you let him live Jeff. I felt the same way about the one Shane and I hatched out... if he wants to live I'll keep feeding him.

OMG this thread is getting funny.
But on a serious note, Kudos to Jeff for having the heart to keep a snake like this and take care of it even if it can't really be a part of his breeding program. I am sure not many people with the amount of snakes he has would do so.

:poke:You guys are terrible!

Not everyone would have given him a chance Jeff, I've really got to hand it to you!

I think Mrs. Mohr should be consulted about that! I bet she's really fond of Jeff's one-eyed snake.
