New Boa

[Insert Witty Commentary]
I got a new boa yesterday. His name is Diamond. He is about 3 years old, 4' long and about 5-7lbs...I'm guessing...

Diamond is a litter-mate to a boa I had that some of you may remember...Simon. In a fit of madness, I sold Simon to an individual that didn't know how to listen, and Simon died. I also kicked myself over that, and I've always regretted selling Simon.

Yesterday, Art, the guy that produced Simon and Diamond, came into the shop with Diamond. He looks and acts exactly like Simon. Art said he was the holdback pick of the litter, but wanted he to give him to the shop. I didn't really ask him why...

...I fell in love immediately and brought him home...

Right now he is in a 2X2X2 Vision Cage. It's probably a little small, but I have a 40g breeder coming next week for him. He's the most wonderful boa ever...:D

Beautiful snake Chris! rosy salmon cheeks( especially for a Kingsnake...LOL, you keep Boas? Learn something new everyday.)

Haha...I've had a couple boas over the years. In fact...I gave my pastel BCI to the shop to replace this boy when I brought him home...

Thanks for the comments, everyone! This boy is quickly warming to his new home, and I suspect it won't be long before he is chillin' out, watchin' TV in our laps...

Beautifu, Chris! I am so glad you got him. I remember the whole Simon thing and you really deserve this guy!

I'm so glad Trent posted this in the WIR or I would have missed seeing him...he is absolutely stunning. I now covet two boas on this forum!
