He's here!! This is Yggdrasil, lavablood, bred by Joe Novak, Captains Colubrids, (CaptBogart to you!!). Joe's been trying to sell me this snake practically since he hatched, and in a weak moment a few weeks ago, I decided I had to have him!

Ygg is a vicious killer, rivaling Ruby! I have _never_ seen a baby cornsnake strike so much! Ooooh, but look at him...

Thank you! I'm not sure what to name his future mate, who hasn't even been hatched yet!! I've been saving that name for a long time, and finally the right snake came along. This snake is _so_ bitey. He had me in _tears_ from laughing the first time I met him. I had just stopped by Katie and Joe's, to pick up Buzztail to bring her up for breeding, and Joe just dropped Ygg in my hand...A while later, I was so attached to him, I had to have him! I had to put Ygg's viv on my kitchen table, because I am _beyond_ out of room. I've wanted a lava bloodred since Carol hatched out the first one. Someday I knew I'd get one. I just didn't think it would be so soon! Thank you, Joe!!
 
Gasp! I'm so glad you finally got your Lava Blood! :D Congrats, Nanci! He's absolutely perfect in every way. :)

Well, his future mates could be the gorgeous Eudoxia, or the beautiful Messalina, or the lovely Agrippina, or even the shy thophthticated Flamina. LOL.

But seriously, Nanci, he is quite beautiful. I know lava has a hypo effect, buy I see (hypo-ish) borders, but the eyes look amel. Please tell me what I am seeing.
 
I don't think there is anything like lavablood eyes. In juveniles, anyway- I don't know about adults. They look like drops of blood to me- very opaque- with no visible boundary between iris and pupil.

I guess the two of you were meant to be Nanci! He is a looker. I have a female Bloodred het amel 66% anery 50% lava hypo stripe. I may need to set up a date with him in the future.

No matter what Nanci, he is a sweet looking blood based morph! I look forward to seeing him grow up. I bet he gets real red and bright.
