is Pet Focus ok to use? its for birds but is it ok too use http://www.goldencockatoo.com/2803.html if its not please post ur own cleaners
I googled bleach/vinegar and most of what I saw said something along these linesEmanon
if you throw some vinegar into that bleach solution the cleaning will really begin! The two have a chem reaction that really boosts the cleaning power without boosting any hazards.
:uhoh:Editor's Note: Bleach and vinegar should not be mixed, especially in quantity, because it creates a toxic gas that could be deadly. So feel free to respond with homemade cleaning recipes but please do not mix bleach and vinegar (or bleach and ammonia).
I use Chlorhexadine solution (trade name: "Nolvasan") for cleaning my tubs. No noxious fumes, you don't have to rinse the crap out of it like bleach, and it can be safely ingested by the critters.
1 tablespoon of the stuff, mixed with 1 gallon of water....it works like a charm.

I'll second Jazz's endorsement!I've used it for along time.

Where do you buy this stuff?
Danny, does the picture really match what you're getting for $11.50??!! I've never seen a gallon jug for less than $40-ish.http://www.opentip.com/Home-Garden/Ormd-Chlorhexidine-Gal-p-684805.html
Here's a link, or if you live close enough to Lake County in Ohio I'll give you 1/2 my bottle. It'll last you about 52.4 years.![]()
Wow! Thanks for that. Guess I've been looking in all the wrong places! The shopping cart says that it's 1G for $11.99 + 10.99 shipping. :spinner:
