New Font?

Is it my computer, or did the font change on this site?

I like it better if it DID change. Very clean.

If it's just my computer that changed it, forgive this erroneous post.

New font? I don't see anything different except the color of the mods' names.

I hate it. I find it difficult to read, and faint, and the no underlining is not a good look. And I hate blue!! A LOT!!

OK, the User names are a bit different in size and thickness, and I hadn't seen any links yet to have noticed the lack of underlying, but everything else looks the same to me. It might be the settings I've always used.

I'm fine with everything except the lack of underlined links! Particularly in posts, if you type a link in a post how is someone supposed to know it's a link if you attach it to text. Like this. <--- The previous "this" I typed is linked to the google homepage, but there is no way to know that unless you drag your mouse over every word and see that it changes color. And the whole front page is links (New Member Introductions , Husbandry and Basic Care, DIY Projects, etc... ) that are no longer underlined. Really threw me off when I came on CS this morning! Nothing else bothers me though, I don't even think I would have really noticed font difference.

Yeah, I've been playing around with the admin options. I never really liked nearly EVERYTHING being underlined all throughout this site, so I removed it. In my opinion, it makes the text easier to read and the site less cluttered looking overall. I believe linkable text will still change color when you move your cursor over the text. Nothing else was changed concerning the font or anything else concerning the actual text itself. Perhaps the removal of the underlining just changes the appearance of the font somehow?

And yes, I changed the mod name highlighting from green to blue. I found it was hard picking out when mods were online because the green was just hard to see. And I would like their presence to be more pronounced. Plus I have something in mind that I will relate later if the mods are all agreeable to it.

Yeah, I know some people hate change, no matter what it is, but the site was beginning to feel stagnant to me lately. So I'm looking around to see what edges I can un-roughen around here.

It does look less crowded. It would be nice if there was a way to keep links within posts underlined but everywhere else with out the underline. So far I don't have anything against the blue. I like it. lol

I'm one of those who hate change, pretty much no matter what it is! LOL. But I'll get used to it. The only thing I'm having real issue with is the non underlined or highlighted links. I do 90% of my browsing of this site on a touch screen device, that doesn't have a cursor. But then again, I don't tap too many links on here anyway.
