What is on your 2009 want list?

My wish list for "09"

Corns,
Male Fire
1.1 Ghost stripe
1.1 Normals het cinder & amel

Other Snakes
Albino Hognose (would like it to be a pair, but would be happy with one )
1.1 White side Bull snake het hypo & albino

All colubrid's for me next year!!! :noevil:

I want a white out corn too. Have not seen one but hear they have dark eyes and are whiter than a Blizzard is.

Whiteouts are bloodred blizzards. They do not have black eyes as they are still homo the albino gene (charcoal, amel, diffused/bloodred). They have red eyes, just like blizzards.

I'm mostly hoping to produce everything on my corn wish list. I have no new planned corn acquisitions...but that hasn't stopped me yet.

I do, however, hope to get maybe another yellowtail cribo and maybe a hognose or two.

mine would be
opal
hypo lav
butter stripe
pied sided bloodred (I know Im not getting that one ;) )
striped bubblegum snow

and many more, but those are the biggest wants!!!

Female anery or het anery Pioneertown rosy boa
Female very nice striped mot Miami
Lavablood (yeah, right!)
Gargoyle gecko, maybe
Maybe a ultramel bloodred pair
Lava with a pattern other than normal- mot or stripe

I dont know from the looks of this picture you were trying to add a Gator to that list as well.. Maybe build a Fort Gator out back. ;)

LoL just teasing ya.. :)

The choice is rather limited here but I am first on the waiting list for:
1- a Sunglow/super Sunglow Boa(a pair of proven hets originally from Jeff Ghi) male
2- a female sunset cross positive het for albino

If I could have corns(without wasting a whole salary for just the shipping) I'd want a Sunkissed Anery probably... or Sunkissed redblood

my want list, for now...

1. Crested Gecko
2. Another cornsnake, I'd love a Charcoal Het Amel
3. Do I even need to say? Everyone wants one, a GTP.
4. Another snake.
5. Another snake.
6-10. More repitles, probably mostly snakes.

My list wont be filled, thats for sure. I might get the first 2 mentioned, and I'm trying my best to convince all 4 of parents to let me have more.

My main wish-list:

Amazon basin ETB
Anthill/pygmy pythons
Kafiau GTP
Blackheaded pythons
Tropidophis sp.

Cinder combo cornsnakes
Tessera cornsnakes

I can't wait for toyah to get the BHPs!!!

Me either Nanci - though if I had my way we'd get the pygmy pythons and then the BHPs, if stan gets his way I think we'll get BHPs before pygmies. So let's see how it goes :)

My list really needs to be short...but...Ha

1. A het albino male or an actual albino male ball python.
2. A MBK to replace the one I lost :(
3. An sub/or adult abbott's Okeetee female.
4. An albino or coral redtail boa....okay so this one is just a dream really since I do not have the space either.
5. A stacking cage system!! please...anyone out there...*snort*

Nothing else I can really think of at the moment...but I admit I am the kind of person who might pick up anything random at a show if it "speaks" to me.
Weirdly been to two great shows lately and brought home NOTHING...how bizzare is that!?!

I've been branching out quite a bit by acquiring more and more species, but I've also been cutting back ALOT. Grad school is going to suck the life out of me, and the last thing I need is more animals I can't care for. I'm only keeping a select few... everyone else is up for grabs. I'm only keeping about 10 corn (gasp!) and then the retic, the boas, the milks, the kings, and the burms... oh and the T's. To be honest, if I could have anything next year, it would be a gynormous rack for my bigguns. Mine is just to small... I need to swing for a 10 footer. However, I don't have the carpentry skills, and nevermind the amount of money it would cost to order that and have it shipped. So, the big rack is my main focus. That will take up an entire wall (side to side and top to bottom) of my reptile room, so I'll be forced to keep the numbers small.

BUT... if I found myself in a situation that I could add a few new babies, I would jump at the chance to pick up a pair of Argentine Boas and possibly a pair of Corn Isle boas. Not to mention I would also love to add to the T shelf, but I think the T shelf needs to grow a bit first.

Well,

PLANNED to get,

Boas:

Male Coral Albino
Hypo Harlequin Orange tail female
Harlequin Orange tail Male
+ hopefully a litter or two from my adults!

Pythons:

Sorong Green tree python
Olive Python
More Jungle Carpets!

most of those are either PAID in full and waiting for weather to ship, or payment is underway!

When it comes to only snakes ...
A pair of BCI Boas are, already, in place and I will be getting them in the first part of 2009, but ...
For now (always subject to change ;) ), all I would like to get, in 2009 (if possible), is:

- A female Jayapura GTP
- A female ATB (only if get one that was promised to me, otherwise I am okay with what I have)
- A certain Cornsnake "or two"
- A male Andean Milksnake (maybe)

Down the road (if not in 2009), I would, also, like to get a pair of Manokwari GTPs, &/or yet another female Jayapura GTP - and a pair of Corn Isle Boas &/or a pair of Cay Caulker Boas.

'Course, there are "one or two" other species that I really like, and keep considering, but, for now, they are truly "up in the air" because I am not sure how much more I want to, or if I really want to, expand into further species than what I already have (one or two, of which, are solely "pets" that I don't plan on breeding).

...sigh... same thing as was on the list last year..... I guess I'm not really a snake lover... I have no desire to own anything other than corns :)
