Well...nobody has volunteered to run it yet. It was initially set up to be announced today so if someone wants to run it, they need to get things going ASAP.
 
I know I'm new to this particular area of the forum and this thread, but I've got a few prizes, some ideas, and I don't mind running a Christmas contest if somebody else would volunteer to help. Anybody interested to help or would y'all like to hear the idea first?
 
I would certainly be willing to help. I mean, we're both in the same town, too, so that can't hurt! xD Though, guess I should hear the idea first... Finals are coming soon...!
 
Yo P. I believe Steph is overwhelmed with work in other areas of her life, so by all means I don't think there would be any problem with you setting up another contest for the Christmas season. I'm a good organizer, and can help on that end, but I have to many other irons in the fire right now (coaching started this week) to help run anything.

More to the point, noone else has stepped forward to do anything, so do what you want. Tell any complainers to . . . well . . . ;)

Brent's right. I've been overwhelmed (my business has expanded these recent months) and had to relinquish some commitments to the forum. Whomever wishes to take over I would be happy to email all of the information to. Perhaps you will have better success encouraging participation as well. That was a factor that I personally found discouraging. Not many appreciated the time that was put into the organization and setup of the whole thing.
 
Like I said before, I volunteer for the Spring 2010 contest! I was very pleased with the turnout for that one, even though it meant more work for me. LOL

I agree. A couple of the contests had great participation, the others didn't. If we could keep participation up (i.e. 20+ entries) then I'd be willing to help out again. But for only a few entries, just seem slike a waste of time IMO>
 
Hmm sounds like a marketing campaign may be necessary... Another aspect to add to the plan I'm hatching at the moment :dgrin:
