:sidestep:

Aw Dave, drat and double drat....you let the cat out of the bag!!!!

(did you ever get those craigslist beauties?)

Soooo excited. Still working on details for getting there and for the hotel...I will probably be in the market for roommates...I'll post again when I know more. But if anyone is driving from the DC/Baltimore/Virginia area please drop me a line.

The new catering options sound awesome!

Can't wait to see you all again. And Robbie, I have a Hooters tank top you can borrow...

I expect we will get the one bedroom suite again. So we will have the living room bed to offer if anyone wants to split 3 ways. We will arrive Thur and check out Sun. morning. So we would prefer somebody staying all 3 nights if possible.

Alright. Catching up on everything I missed.

CAROL - I was almost scared to call you to give you directions. :p Then I got over it! And was SO excited to finally meet you! I didn't find you intimidating at all, but then again, you'd also been chatting with us on DYK, so that helped a lot. :)

RE: The Hooters Girl Outfit - If y'all are serious, I'll go get the outfit! However, I claim no responsibility for burned retinas. :grin01:

RE: Catering Options - As soon as there's a list of questions, I'll be more than happy to find out and post the results here. :)

And of course,

:D I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE Y'ALL AGAIN!!!! :D

I am so excited that it looks like Lauren and I can indeed come! Squeee! We are so looking forward to meeting you all.

We'll be attending, just booked the hotel today! Woo hoo! Super excited!

Now you 2 women are truly frightening....if you can't resist the beauties at Repticon, how in the world will you not buy a few dozen critters at Daytona? And will both of you be able to get back in your car for the ride home with all the new acqusitions in it? :) :)

Ok - the restaurants we can choose from for catering would be Hooters, Ruby Tuesday and Pizzeria Uno's.
Ruby Tuesday has their catering menu online - but does not specify prices:
http://www.rubytuesday.com/menu/catering

Pizzeria Uno:
http://www.unos.com/newmenu/catering.html

And this is the info I received from Hooters:
The party platter options (approx 8-10 ppl each platter) are as follows:

Classic Club $59.99
Boneless Wings $49.99
"Nearly World Famous" Wings $69.99
Buffalo Shrimp $59.99
Peel & Eat Shrimp $49.99
Grilled Chicken Minis $39.99
Buffalo Party Platter most variety-strips, shrimp and wings in your choice of sauces) $49.99
Pulled Pork Minis $39.99
Celery and Carrot Platter $21.95

Some of the platters come with additional items, but use the togo menu for more details on the items until I can get back and scan the catering one for you.

For Catering per person we offer:

"Nearly World Famous" Wings
Boneless Wings
Buffalo Shrimp
Grilled Chicken Minis
Classic Club Sandwiches
Peel & Eat Shrimp

For the Catering per person items, depending on form of delivery, depends on the number of choices you get and how many of each item will be on each plate, ect. I can not do those individual prices via e-mail as there are many choices you can make and certain choices affect other options. I can do those quotes over the phone though. Also, the per person catering includes your choice of two side items and all serving utensils needed.

We also offer side items such as Baked Beans, Potato Salad, and Cole Slaw; Desserts of Key Lime Pie, Caramel Fudge Cheesecake, and Chocolate Mousse Cake; Salads (Caesar or Garden with or without chicken) and Beverages (Tea or Lemonade in Gallon sizes)

In addition, we also do Boxed Lunches with choice of sandwich or wrap served with chips and choice of apple or cookie for $7.95pp and your choices are between Classic Club, Ham, Turkey, or Chicken Caesar Wrap.

Thoughts??

Also - anyone else need hotel rooms booked yet? Nanci -we don't have yours booked....anyone else?

I don't really care about the food as long as it's better. All those sound good.

If you call me any night I'll give you my CC info. I guess I'm going Thursday-Sunday nights.

It all sounds good to me, I can't wait!
I still have to get the airline tickets, should do that soon.

Dumb question, if I pack up shipping supplies, will I be able to ship any new snakes to myself at home before I fly back on Monday?

All of those options sound good to me. I can "go with the flow" - as long as it is not seafood, lol! I do love Hooter's wings! But I would guess that there are a lot of people who might not want their whole dinner comprised of them.

I will book the king bedroom again for Thur, Fri, and Sat. We will offer the extra bed to a roomie if somebody wants to split expenses 3 ways. I will get with you soon with CC info.

Thanks!

Maybe a bunch of pizzas from Uno's would be the cheapest and easiest. Who doesn't like pizza? And maybe a few of the large house salads?

Are we able to bring our own drinks?

Beth, there was a ship your reptiles booth last year, but with the problems they've been having I'm not sure if they will again this year. I don't fly back until Tuesday so I'll be shipping mine via Fed ex either Monday or Tuesday. I can ship yours at the same time if you want.

I was going to say that you could drop them off at FedEx the morning of your flight and they'll arrive the following day, but I would just buy shipping supplies here, as you won't know what size box and such you'll need.

Thanks Carol! That would be a huge load off my mind! I am not expecting to buy a whole lot, but you never know! Plus I already know that alot of my money will be going towards the USARK raffles at the dinner. I'm pretty sure that I will have to be shipping something home :)

And, thank you Joe. It never occured to me that there might be shipping supplies for sale there!

That might be a good idea....I think it would also be easier than trying to figure out how many burgers/chicken sandwiches/wings etc....

Exactly what I was thinking. Did the hotel have a salad bar only option? I tried to look back but didn't see it. If it's reasonable, maybe a salad bar from the hotel and pizzas from unos?
