Sorry about the strictness of this requirement, but it is necessary to block spammers and scammers at the door as much as possible.

My wife and I need your prayers and well wishes.

What Kathy said basically covers all the bases for me too. If Loki doesn't make it, it's not your fault.

Animals have amazing capacities to heal. Keep positive thoughts especially if you visit Loki...they feel us. You and your wife are doing a wonderful thing.

Next time you and the wife are in ABQ, I'd like to meet up.

Well, I don't know if this helps, but if he was a human, and had a horrible pelvis fracture, and injured his urethra, the treatment is to put in a catheter and let it heal, or divert urine through a catheter through his belly to his bladder (sounds bad but it isn't) until it heals, a lot of the time. It's not the worst thing.

I found an article about it I wanted to read but I need to wait till I'm at work- I don't have a sign-on here.

Well, I hope he's better, more stable, this morning.

The Wait is Over.

Update:

This is the last update on Loki. The internal damage was much more than expected and he did not make it through the night. He was a good little dog and a fighter, We loved him very much. Now what we have to do is decide what to do with his body. We are going back over to Alamogordo today to spend time with our family.

I really appreciate all of your prayers and well wishes.

RIP Loki May 2010-November 2010

I am so, so sorry!

You and your vet did everything humanly possible, but sometimes our efforts just aren't enough. May the little guy rest in peace...I grieve with you...

I just came across this thread for the frist time. Outcast, I'm soo sorry to hear about Loki. I lost a dog to a tumor on her spine. It was one of the hardest times of my life. I feel for you and you all are in my thoughts.

On another note I noticed you said you couldn't find work here in Las Cruces. I know it isn't the best place but I know that the Celebrate liquor store on Telshore is hiring for full and part time positions. I know one of the employees and might be able to help you get in over there. They are pretty flexible for hours. PM me if you want to talk about it some more.

So sorry to hear about this....but you did all you could. I know he appreciated it and is waiting at the Bridge for you.
This year is nearly over. Here is hoping that next year is better.

I am so sorry, Aaron... We all were hoping for a better outcome, but know that you did all you could and know that you and your wife are still in my thoughts and prayers. My deepest and most heartfelt condolences to you both.

I am very sorry Aaron, that will leave a hole in your family that will heal in time. I am sorry.

Awww...man....
Sorry to hear about this Aaron. You can feel at ease that you did your best, your heart and mind were both together in a kind place. All dogs should have people who care so much.

I'm so sorry to hear about Loki

My condolences Aaron. It is never easy to lose a pet, especially one so young and so unexpectedly. My heart is breaking for you right now.

If only every pet out there were lucky enough to have parents like you and your wife. I am so sorry to hear about Loki.

RIP Loki
