I looooove Cnidarians, so I have to complete this WIR with some shots taken by ArpeggioAngel at the Akron Zoo. Check out the thread for other great animal and cs.com member shots, too!

Hate to nit-pick, but this is actually a Comb Jelly. They belong to Phylum Ctenophora, not Phylum Cnidaria (jellyfish, corals, and relatives). Ctenophores lack the stinging cells characteristic of all Cnidarians. I teach Marine Bio :)

~LOL@Heather~ I didn't expect you to do that! It is summer vacation, so I guess I needed a teaching fix. My BF is always accusing me of "lecturing him" when I swear I am just explaining something!
